Don’t forget to vote in the EU referendum on 23 June! Polls are open 7.00am to 10.00pm.

You should receive a polling card if you are registered to vote, but you can vote even if you do not have a polling card. You do not need to show any form of identification in order to vote either, you just need to be able to confirm your name and address.

In order to vote, you must be registered by 7 June.

The question voters will be asked in the referendum is “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union?”

Those eligible to vote in the referendum include British, Irish and Commonwealth country citizens living in the UK.

The deadline for registering to obtain a postal ballot for the first time is 8 June.
